By registering for and using the Crime Beacon community monitoring application, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Application.
2.1. To use the Application, you must create a user account. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information during the registration process.
2.2. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, and you are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
3.1. You agree to use the Application only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable local, state, national, and international laws and regulations.
3.2. You may not use the Application to engage in any malicious or harmful activities, including but not limited to hacking, distributing malware, or any other illegal activities.
4.1. The Application allows users to report incidents and emergencies to the community and relevant authorities. By submitting an incident report, you confirm that the information provided is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
4.2. You understand that false or misleading reports can have serious consequences and may be subject to legal actions.
5.1. You agree not to use the Application to harass, threaten, defame, or otherwise harm other users.
5.2. You agree not to use the Application to upload, post, or transmit any content that is harmful, obscene, discriminatory, or violates the rights of others.
6.1. Our Privacy Policy outlines the information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect your privacy. By using the Application, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in the Privacy Policy.
7.1. We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Application, in our sole discretion, without notice, for any reason, including a breach of these Terms and Conditions.
8.1. We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Any changes will be effective upon posting on the Application, and your continued use of the Application after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
9.1. The Application is provided "as is," without any warranties, express or implied. We do not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or availability of the Application.
10.1. We shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the Application.
11.1. These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ontario Jurisdiction.
